Diploma in Construction Operations
What you need
The desire to be qualified in Civil Engineering and work in the industry. You must be
willing to train in theory and practice in an intensive environment. All learners will
be required to undertake an initial assessment in order to gauge learning styles and
support needs.
What you will learn
Management of materials, working at height, working efficiently, operating construction plant, site security, drainage and concreting.
What else?
This level 2 course is designed to enable you to gain employment in the industry. Whilst employed you can complete your NVQ in the workplace.
Progression
Once you have completed your ICA you can then obtain further skills through NVQ work placement. Students must arrange their own placements.
