We have excellent provision to meet the skills needs of employers. We give a number of individuals from all backgrounds access to the high quality vocational training they need to succeed in a modern economy.

The aircraft industry continues to have ashortage of specialist aircraft engineers. Filton College provides education and training in engineering concentrating on Aerospace Engineering at BTEC First and National levels. You could progress to the JAR Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Licence, or a Foundation Degree in Engineering.

Facilities include a sheet metal workshop, machine shop, electronics laboratory, computer-aided design suite and classrooms equipped with modern IT equipment.
