Facilities
The health and social care courses at Filton College are designed for students who wish to
progress into an industry that focuses on caring and supporting people.
On completion of their programmes, students can progress into either Higher Education or into
employment within the areas of health studies, nursing, midwifery, paramedics, social work,
occupational therapy and medical science.
The Health and Social Care Department at Filton College has a wealth of experience in the delivery of these courses. The College also has strong links with industry and all students on level 2 or level 3 courses benefit from placements in a variety of work settings which may include work experience with the National Health Service.
